
Breaking News: Winds equivalent to those experienced in a category 2 cyclone are lashing Western Australia and parts of Perth soon.
130km/hr winds are expected to lash parts of the coast, with gusts over 110/km hr already recorded on Perth beaches.
The extreme winds are starting several hours before the worst of the weather is set to hit.

An ex-Tropical storm is impacting Western Australia, along with a cold front to the South West.
The two weather systems will combine to create a super storm system, a situation called “explosive cyclogenesis”
The super storm will form as the two systems come together off the coast of Busselton.
The pressure in the atmosphere across south-west WA is plummeting as the system makes its way down the coast.
