Breaking News: Perth temperature records smashed this Easter Saturday.
Perth is experiencing record temperatures today, with a 110-year temperature record for April smashed.
The city has not seen such temperatures since records began
The old record of 37.6 degrees was set way back in 1910.
The Bureau of Meteorology of Western Australia said Rottnest Island, Dwellingup and several other sites across WA had also broken their April maximum temperature record.
Temps hit 38.3°C at 1pm.
At Perth airport at 2pm it was 39.3C
