Breaking: A fire front is moving toward Perth’s outer suburbs.

Ellenbrook and Avery and surrounds are being impacted by a fast moving bushfires in the area.

Heavy winds overnight fanned the flames and people are being told to monitor media and DFES alert information.

The winds are mow moving southwest.

20 homes are now reported lost in the blaze that started yesterday at Wooroloo.

People are being evacuated this morning and the change in wind direction could also be a threat to other areas, as DFES crews work to save property.
